What is advertising?
Advertising is when a media business wants to market their product/ services so they would create an
advert to promote it and get customers to purchase it. 
What can be advertised?
Everything can be advertised with different products and services.
Different methods of advertising -> What are the platforms?
Online advertising is the biggest which is normal on the internet( webpages, google, youtube) 
There is also print advertising is which is advertising in real life for example on newspapers,
magazines billboards.
Social media is also a big part of advertising having pop-up ads on Facebook, Instagram and
snapchat. They are also paying people to adverts on their accounts if they have a certain amount of
followers.

What are the earliest advertisements?
The earliest advertisement that has been found is print-based on bronze for a needle shop in ancient China. 
How much do companies usually spend?
There is not an average answer to this as lots of companies would spend differently if they have 
large revenue or not.
What is the process?
It would be if a business generates 5mill or less in revenue they would spend 7 - 8% of that revenue 
on marketing.

Advertising technic brand summary - summary brand in just a few words brief - describing the advert/ to be simple and clear to the point rhymes - a rhyme or jingle repetition - a brand name/ product that is used multiple times. alliteration - repeating of a syllable/ same letter and familiar sounds. use of every/ always - USP/ saying the business will take care of the customers present tense imperatives - very deceive langue use of capitals use of humour use of puns/ wordplay Big mac advert  Repetition - Talking about the big mac with bacon and how it's not a big mac so they are repeating the same conversations with multiple different people to push this campaign.
